In order to better support prospective foreign teachers in adapting to the virtual teaching environment in China, we will provide pre-induction training to help foreign teachers. The training will be conducted through online courses that the prospective foreign teachers will be required to complete within the required time frame and pass post-training assessments and tests.

Before starting work, foreign teachers are required to undergo a training program on Chinese laws and regulations governing schools, essential requirements for classroom order in the Chinese classroom, typical student routines, and the study habits of Chinese students. We believe that foreign teachers who have met the professional requirements will be able to provide sound teaching in the classroom. Still, since they may not be well adapted to the Chinese educational environment, this pre-service training is necessary for foreign teachers to adapt to China and provide teaching in a localized manner.
